FOUNDED IN 1944
Calvary Baptist Church was incorporated on February 28, 1944, and called William A. Suk to be its first pastor. Starting out at the site of what are now Cherry and Bayliss Streets.

GROWTH + EXPANSION
In 1963, the Reverend Mark Dickerson became pastor and a Christian day school was begun in 1973. In 1974 our current 25-acre lot at corner of Perrine and Wackerly Road was purchased. Development began shortly after and has continued to this day.

SENIOR PASTOR
Dan Dickerson, pastor Mark’s son, joined the staff in May of 1979 and assumed the role of senior pastor in 1988.
